Bloodberry Tart


  • 1 batch Flaky Pie Dough
  • 10 ounces crushed raspberries
  • 1 pound blueberries
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons powdered pectin
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon

Preparation/Cooking Process:

Usually I should have prepared the dough beforehand, but in this case we had a livestream on Twtich so I decided that it would be best if I show every part of the cooking process to my viewers, instead of just pulling out pre-made ingredients. We usually even make the sauces ourselves.

So After I have prepared the dough I put it in a pie form and let it sit in the fridge for a long time approx. 2 hours. BTW tell me if you want the recipe for the Pie Dough in the comments.

In the meantime I have started to prepare the bloody mixture of blueberries and raspberries. I melted and mixed everything together on medium to low heat, carefully stirring everything. After that I have strained it and here you have the bloody mix. Take the dough out of the fridge, our the mixture after it cools on top and bake very 20 minutes.

Let it cool for an hour at least!
