Conjured Mana Buns



  • 3/4 cup milk, warm
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 1/2 cup butter. melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 1/2 cups of flour


  • 4 tablespoons of butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons of flour
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, finely chopped


  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Dash of vanilla

Preparation/Cooking Process:

In a large bowl combine the warm milk and the sugar and mix until the sugar is dissolved. Add the yeast, the butter and the egg and stir. Add the salt and gradually start adding the flour until you have a workable dough. Live it in a warm place to double its size.

Mix the ingredients for the filling until you have something like this.

Spread the dough in two halves and using a roller make such big rectangles. Roughly each to be 30sm long and 15sm tall. Spread the filling on each, leaving the top part empty because when you start rolling them the liquid might start pouring.

Roll the first one from up to top, place it in the other half and roll it again until you have something like this.

Melt some butter and oil forms for cupcakes. Take a sharp knife and cut the role in pieces to distribute them in the cupcakes. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C and bake for 15-20 minutes

In the meantime you can prepare the glaze, having a small sauce pan on a medium heat. Melt the sugar, add the flour, the creme and the vanilla. When the buns are ready take them our of the forms and spread the topping on them.
