South Island Iced Tea

South Island Iced Tea

Very refreshing in the summer evenings! This is the first cocktail recipe inspired by the game World of Warcraft that we cooking on our live stream.

  • 1 & 1/2 oz. Rum
  • 1/2 oz.Gin
  • 1/2 oz.Vodka
  • 1/2 oz. Tequila
  • 1/2 oz. Triple sec
  • 1 oz. Sour mix
  • Pineapple soda

Most of the alcoholic drinks we already had at home so this was easy. We didn’t add tequila and triple sec. We couldn’t find triple sec in store so we decided to replace it with something else that had this orangy mixed taste. We had Monster in the fridge and this was a very funny idea but we did it that way. For the sour mix, we used a concentrated lime juice. Pineapple soda was missing as well here in the store so we kind of made one ourselves. We bought pineapple juice and soda water and we mixed them together. The result was pretty pleasing.

Preparation/Cooking Process:

We used a shaker jar to mix the drinks. We didn’t have a whole pineapple to pour the drink inside it and make it more authentic.

Yey or nay:

The drink tasted good. It wasn’t sweet from the juice and the alcohol didn’t feel so strong. The cocktail was very light and refreshing. We got a bit tipsy at some point and overall its a Yey!
