This side dish recipe that we prepared on cooking stream live channel online for you guys is great for garnish to your main dishes.
- several carrots cut into 3 inch long sticks
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 tablespoon soy Sauce
- 1 tablespoons Honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh minced ginger
So our side dish was the Sauteed carrots which we thought would go well with the boar ribs.
For the preparation, we started off with putting some water to boil in a pot, while the water was heating we were preparing the carrots by peeling and cutting them into long sticks bout 3 inches or so.
When the water was ready to put them for boiling around 5-8 minutes till they got softer and then we started heating a pan with some butter inside after it was fully melted we put the carrots in and started stirring them in the butter. They started sizzling nicely we added some soy sauce and stirred them up a bit again. Finally, we mixed the honey and ginger and added them in the mix for a nice glaze, and we sprinkled them with some parsley on top just to make them look more like in the book.

The carrots had a very interesting buttery sweet taste, they were almost like candy and were indeed a good addition to the meat.

An easy to make a side dish for any type of meat in our opinion, we give it an eight because the ginger made it taste a bit foreign to us and we felt like something was missing, but when we added some feta cheese to them it balanced out the taste pretty well.
